The Company:
A leading Australian coal seam gas explorer and producer focused on developing its world-class reserves for domestic and international supply.

The Role:
We have been asked to source two Environmental Compliance Coordinators to work within our clients Environmental Compliance Team based in Brisbane CBD. Travelling to site on an occasional adhoc basis, the incumbent will be responsible for coordinating the program of activities covering their environmental compliance management system.

Essentially, the successful candidates will coordinate the use of the system, to include updating and providing advice on procedures. The incumbent will drive the implementation, monitor its effectiveness and liaise with colleagues throughout the business to ensure they are informed and understand all areas of environmental compliance.

You will be responsible for:
- Coordinating a broad range of compliance activities and reporting on these obligations to stakeholders
- Developing awareness through the development and delivery of training
- Providing recommendations to improve compliance and ensure accountability and transparency
- Scheduling inspections and audits to ensure activities are carried out in high risk areas

This role would be suitable for a candidates with moderate environmental auditing exposure, ideally on construction projects, and will offer the opportunity to develop a career in CSG.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualifications in the environmental discipline
- Strong auditing and reviewing experience, with knowledge of construction projects and operational sites
- Experience managing and coordinating compliance activities
- History of developing a working knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and policies

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
- Experience of Oil & Gas or Mining projects
