The Role:
• Long Term Residential Contract
• Located in Sunny Gladstone
• Work on a Major CSG project

Our Client is seeking an experienced Environmental Consultant to provide excellent environmental stewardship for both the onshore and offshore operations. The Successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring compliance of all job site environmental programs and serve as an advisor on environmental matters to the constructions team. Reporting to the Site Environmental Specialist you will oversee the implementation of programs across both onshore and offshore project sites.

Your responsibilities will include:
• You will be primarily responsible for the implementation and management of construction ensuring contractors incorporate and comply with environmental requirements
• Participating in the review of Environmental Management Plans and monitoring programs
• Provide leadership across the project site including the provision of Environmental Awareness training
• Perform inspects and audits
• Assist in the implementation of HSE systems for site activities

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Degree qualified in Environmental Sciences or equivalent
• Significant environmental experience, preferably in construction both in terrestrial and marine areas
• Strong technical skills in the environmental field, with construction contractor management experience
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate contractors, peers, Supervisors and the like
• Posses the ability to plan, organise and conduct multiple projects
• Must posses a flexible approach to an ever changing work environment
• Must have existing rights to work in Australia.
