The Company:
One of the bigger international oil companies. In the Dutch sector of the North Sea, they produce crude oil and natural gas. This company operates and has interests in 10 offshore blocks.

The Role:
Preparation of Internal and External Environmental Reports
Advice the organization on adopting environment friendly systems and participate in environment protection activities
Maintaining the Environmental Stewardship Process as part of the Business Excellence Management System
Preparation of permit applications and develop, maintain, conduct, monitor and review Environmental Impact Assessments.
Maintain, report and monitor the EU ETS III requirements. This includes facilitation of regular verification audit
Ensure & maintain all Environmental standard ISO 14001 Requirement in the Organization
Support Operations Department and Management on Environmental Issues
Conduct and coordinate internal and external Environmental Inspections and Audits
Represent the HSEQ department in External/ Internal Technical Environmental reviews (iHAZID, HAZOP) and NOGEPA Environmental related workgroups as required
HSEQ NORM specialist: Developing, maintaining and implementing NORM related procedures and supporting the organization on all NORM related

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Education: MSc degree in an environmental or other technical discipline preferred
5 to 10 years relevant experience preferably in the offshore Oil & Gas industry
Experience with defining environmental procedures in conjunction with all concerned Departments
Coaching/Mentoring experience regarding interpretation of regulatory environmental requirements
Experience with identifying relevant environmental-related training needs and delivering training
Experience with writing of technical environmental reports

Identify with Company safety requirements, and demonstrate environmental awareness
Superior counseling and problem solving skills
Team player and effective communicator
Good command of the Dutch and English language
Flexible and able to learn new skills
Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
Self start, be able to work independently
Ability to work on multiple activities simultaneously
Knowledge of Dutch offshore environmental Legislation preferred
Fluency in MS Office
