The Role:
• Supports the PMT Representative (Onshore Pipeline Construction Superintendent) in oversight of EPC Contractor’s onshore pipeline construction activities and provides advice as necessary to ensure they comply and Project Environmental requirements
• Liaising and assisting the EPC Contractor’s Onshore Pipeline Site Team in aspects of environment pertaining to Project personnel and Project.
• Attends and participates in Site Safety Meetings, Safety Committee Meetings, Risk Assessments, Toolbox Talks and Job Safety Analysis.
• Audits and monitors onshore pipeline site construction activities at regular intervals in order to identify any environmental working practices are being adhered to and that the Project Environmental Procedures are being complied with.
• Coordinates with other Site PMT members and ensures active participation in management site safety inspection tours and daily site walkabouts.
• Reviews all environmental reports and monitoring the implementation of remedial actions. Is the Point of Contact for all Environmental Issues on Site.
• Examines trends and proposes corrective action to prevent recurrence of incidents as necessary.
• Provides weekly Environmental reports, metrics and highlights and any compliance issues to the PMT SHE&S Manager.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Good written and verbal communications skills
• Environmental Managment
• Conversant with the latest legislation concerning Environment
• Good computer skills.
• Minimum of ten (10) years in Health, Safety and Environment affairs in the Oil and Gas Construction Industry.
• Worldwide experience of working with contractors in the construction industry.
