The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia.
The Role:
Support the growth of terrestrial and European heritage technical competencies for our Client's Project.
Provide ongoing assistance, advice and review during the preparation by contractors of detailed survey documentation required to safely and efficiently execute terrestrial environmental or European heritage scopes or work.
Coordinate critical logistics with multiple stakeholders to enable timely mobilization of these field teams.
Lead these teams in the field as the Field Representative, particularly those operating in the terrestrial environment.
Explore technical development opportunities for terrestrial environmental survey design and execution with an emphasis on continuous improvement of quality, efficiency and reduction of execution risk.
Leverage other Projects, and systematically apply lessons-learned where appropriate.
Interact with project contractors to enroll them in supporting an Incident and Injury Free culture and building on the reputation for environmental performance.
Please note: this is a Perth-based non-rotational position requiring 5-15 days per month at/near the Project construction site.
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in Environmental Science or similar with demonstrated HES experience
Minimum of 6 years relevant experience in environmental management and monitoring programs for industrial facility construction projects and/or operating facilities.
- Experience in planning and supervising third-party contractors to conduct field data collection activities to meet technical, health, safety and quality objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high priority tasks concurrently.
Ability to work in high pressure environment while meeting tight strategic milestones.
Strong organisational, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Practical working knowledge of relevant Western Australian and Commonwealth environmental legislation.
- Commitment to drive an Incident and Injury Free culture.
- Demonstrable training and competency in the support of terrestrial environmental scopes of work desirable.
