The Role:
The Environmental Engineer/Specialist will be responsible for the oversight, implementation and compliance with all permit terms and conditions of some combination of air and wastewater programs listed below. This includes the monitoring, record-keeping, inspection, testing, and reporting associated with each of the programs listed below.

Specific responsibilities include:
•Manage the Title V operating permit program, including
oPermit applications and Permits To Install
oPermit deviations and reporting
oPermit applicability determinations
oAnnual air emissions inventory calculations and fee emissions report
•Manage SARA/CERLA reporting as related to air emissions
•Responsible for the Storage Tank Air Compliance Program
•Support facility Greenhouse Gas Program
•Support facility activities for compliance with site wide consent decree
•General support for all Refinery Air MACT programs
•Provide general support for refinery
oToxic Release Inventory reporting
oRoot Cause Failure Analyses
•Act as department representative for refinery PSM/MOC/Hazop activities
•Provide backup support for site-wide CEMS program

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Top 3:

-Minimum 5 years experience Title S Major Source, PSE
-Experience in a refining or petro chemical environment
-Experience in chemical engineering


•BS Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or other technical degree
•5+ years experience as an Environmental Engineer/Specialist
•Minimum of 5 years environmental experience in the petrochemical industry or other relevant experience
•Proficient in use of Excel, Word, and Air Services
•Ability to negotiate with regulatory agencies
•Ability to interact with multiple departments within the refinery

Preferred Qualifications:

•Master's degree in Engineering or MBA
•Professional Engineers License
