The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
An opportunity has become available for an Environmental Advisor to join the site based team.

Your duties will include but not limited to:

• Conduct environmental compliance inspections and audits of Contractor work sites to ensure conformance with environmental requirements. Oversees and monitors close out of corrective actions.
• Provision of mentoring and advice to construction personnel. Liaises and communicates on a regular basis with all stakeholders (inc implementation Contractors and Construction team members) to ensure environmental issues are addressed in a practical, timely and appropriate manner.
• Maintains clear communications between EPCM team and the Implementation Contractor workforce (including attendance of contractor toolbox and pre-start meetings), provides training and mentoring to Implementation Contractor workforce as required and ensures Implementation Contractor company’s procedures and operations are consistent with the project’s environmental requirements

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Ideally you will have the ability to demonstrate knowledge, capability and competence in the following commercial, technical and interpersonal aspects:

• Minimum Qualifications: Environmental Science Degree (or similar).
• Minimum of 5 years relevant, practical experience in resource industry construction projects and/or operating facilities, including experience in working with EPCM contractors and subcontractors.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of environmental management systems.
• Strong organisational, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Practical working knowledge of relevant Western Australian and Commonwealth environmental legislation is essential.
