The Company:
Our client is one of the world's leading integrated energy companies.They explore for, produce and transport crude oil and natural gas; refine, market and distribute transportation fuels and lubricants; manufacture and sell petrochemical products; generate power and produce geothermal energy.

The Role:
Our client requires an Environmental Scientist/Technician/Professional to support the Owner’s Project Team in conducting reclamation, remediation and spill response projects. The successful candidate must be someone with project management, client communication and operational experience in the environmental field.

• Experienced in spill response
• Conduct Upstream Oil and Gas Phase I, II and III Environmental Site Assessments
• Develop and build strong relations with the existing client base
• Conduct fieldwork activities and prepare technical reports for lease, pipeline development and environmental impact assessments, for the purpose of acquiring restoration or reclamation certificate
• Assist and supervise reclamation and remediation projects and complete related inspection in areas of operation
• Complete EFR/EAP field assessments and reporting
• Complete professional technical reports
• Organize and manage workload and cooperate as part of a team for the successful completion of projects
• Liaise with client construction, land surface and engineering Contractors
• Promote corporate, safety and environmental policies
• Other environmental related projects for clients as directed

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Engineering degree or Technologist diploma with experience in Construction of mega projects; including. 7+ years of experience in the Oil and Gas related Industries, specifically pipelines and facilities development
• Oversight of various contracting firms on site activities
• Planning the milestones for early works inpsections
• Superb Oral and Written English language presentation skills
• Familiar with COAA Canadian Model Alcohol and Drug based programs
• Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident and currently resides in Western Canada
