The Role:
GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Follows the development of environmental issues and concerns at the international, national, and local level in order to be at the frontline for responding to such concerns relevant to oil and gas operation. Gathers data, study and develop an analysis of opportunities which come up from environmental issues and to communicate these finding to management. Prepares operational permit applications, plans, & environmental analyses for small and large projects for all assets. Identifies environmental risks, issues, and mitigation strategies and communicate within HSE, and other internal business partners. Provides oversight and lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the Environmental Management Information System (EMIS). Typically requires 3-5 years of experience. Intermediate level. Provides technical/functional and/or administrative support. General working knowledge of specific systems, terminology and procedures used within the department. Performs routine tasks. Able to solve problems and make basic decisions.

ADDITIONAL DESCRIPTION DETAILS:

Reviews and assists in contractor selection and assists with contractor readiness. Performs required environmental training as necessary to ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint

- BS in an environmental – related degree

- NSTC

- Valid Drivers License

Preferred Experience:

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
- Previous North Slope environmental work experience preferred.
