The Client Company offers a full range of automation and control solutions to key vertical markets, including Energy, Pulp & Paper, and Chemicals/Pharmaceuticals, and develops/markets industrial automation systems and advanced software applications. The company offers a range of Lifecycle Services to the installed base of our systems.

The Role:
We are seeking an experienced, highly professional and motivated Sales Manager to lead our Korea Region Sales team. The main purpose of this role will be to plan, direct and control sales business strategies and activities within the Korea & Japan market. The key to your success will be ensuring customer satisfaction through sales planning and account management and employee satisfaction through performance and career management.

** Please note that the full proficiency in Korean language is essential for this position.

Report to : Regional Sales Manager in Korea/Japan

Responsibilities include.
• Meeting monthly, quarterly and annual financial targets.
• Day to day management of Field Instrument opportunities across EPCs, End customers, OEMs and Channels
• Business improvement, achieving aggressive productivity targets. Be the champion of sales processes and disciplines
• Strategic account management of key accounts
• Accurate planning and forecasting of sales performance
• Act as industry spokesperson and figurehead in order to promote company’s name and capability around Field Instruments portfolio
• Aggressively deploy new business initiatives
• Customer relationship management processes and increasing customer satisfaction levels
• Responsible for sales activities, long term relationship management for specified accounts and pursuits, engage early and leverage cross business / geographies relations to influence and drive customer decisions
• System and consulting knowledge applicable to vertical markets
• Understanding of key processes, economic drivers in order to develop valued customer partnership in control and business solutions
• Account (New & Existing) Development
• Consult/investigate key business opportunities with range of customer contacts
• Act as a pursuit leader and work closely with internal (Customer and Product support) resources, supplier contacts to put up a winning bid.
• Proposal Generation
• Manage metrics around bookings and incentive planning tool for Field Instrument portfolio.
• Self Development

Key Success Factors
• Deliver target growth as defined in the Annual Operating Plan
• Achieves maximum profitability and growth in line with Company's vision and strategy
• Execute Strategies and initiatives to attain growth in the region
• Executive sponsorship for select customers
• Accurate forecast/SIOP of orders, revenue and growth opportunities
• Achieve Indirect sales targets for geography (% direct vs. % indirect)
• MAP (Mutual Action Plan) initiation, analysis and evaluation for Channel Business
• Success & win rates from identified EPCs/Key Accounts

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred
• Master's degree in Business Administration is preferred
• Prior experience of managing a team of sales professionals
• Prior commercial sales experience in closing large and complex contractual agreements is preferred
• Prior experience of working within an international multinational organisation will be distinct advantage.
