The Company:
Our client is a large multi-national organization which explores, develops, produces and markets crude oil, gas and sulfur. They pride themselves in conducting operations in accordance with the world–class safety and environmental standards.

The Role:
1.Reporting directly to the Project Procurement Coordinator, the Bulks/Equipment Procurement Coordinator will act as a key member of the overall project procurement organization and overall project team
2.Coordination with project team members, SCM, project partners and the FEED/EPCM contractor to develop and implement sourcing alternatives, strategies and tactics focused primarily on major, critical bulk materials that maximize commercial opportunities in support of project business drivers
3.Coordination with project team members, SBU SCM and project partners to develop and implement tactical plans, processes and procedures that govern project activities in support of key project, SBU, Operations and enterprise goals and drivers
4.Working with FEED/EPCM contractor's FEED procurement team on activities in support of development of Phase 3 cost estimate and schedule
5.Overseeing FEED/EPCM contractor's early procurement of long lead and other critical equipment and bulk materials in support of early works and overall construction completion
6.Assisting in the development and management the Approved Vendors List (AVL) in consultation with project team, FEED/EPCM contractor, SCM, category management and ETC
7.Integrating Preferred Supplier Agreements (IMAs) into project strategies where agreements align with project business drivers
8.Establishing and implementing strategies for materials standardization
9.Establishing and implementing strategies to develop and use Kazakh suppliers and fabricators as a key project objective
10.Working with stakeholders to ensure alignment of strategies
11.Providing input and guidance to the project team, FEED/EPCM contractor, module fabrication contractors, EPC and construction contractors
12.Ensuring collaboration between the Project team, FEED/EPCM contractor and base business operations and supply chain management organization to increase awareness of the major capital project activities and ensure alignment with base business operations planning.
13.Responsibilities also include supporting project wide safety initiatives including implementation of Incident & Injury free (IIF) and Safety VIPs

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
1.Knowledge of contracting and procurement execution strategies and work processes for large, complex major capital projects (MCP) projects in both upstream and downstream environments
2.Familiarity with developing and using complex sourcing and negotiation strategies to optimize commercial opportunities on MCPs.
3.Knowledge of EPC company procurement operations and work processes
4.Knowledge of global supplier community for equipment and materials required to develop a MCP. Familiarity with Western and Eastern Europe a significant plus.
5.Knowledge of commercial, legal, tax, and regulatory laws related to the procurement of materials throughout the world. Familiarity with operations in Kazakhstan a significant plus.
6.Excellent communicator with demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to lead a high performance team, be a change agent and establish credibility with senior level peers
