The Role:
The candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in the hydrocarbons industry and be familiar with the processes and procedures used to effectively and efficiently maintain plant and equipment. Experience in the implementation and operation of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is essential. The candidate will be based in Kazakhstan and work a 28 day rotational assignment. Some specific elements of experience the candidate is required to have are:

Good English Skills.
Read & understand Engineering drawings
Understanding of equipment “Parent/Child” relationship concept.
Development of asset registers
Familiar with all forms of project related documentation
Good communication skills, both written and oral.
Ability to listen and understand others.
Planning and organizing.
Produce quality written turnover notes, reports and be communicative in meetings.
Possession of team skills and interaction skills are essential.

Position Description:


The Equipment & Parts Consultant participates in a range of activities designed to ensure the entry of equipment into the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) occurs in a timely fashion. The position will also pay particular attention to the critical interface between maintenance and inventory management, in particular the association of equipment tags with spare parts stock codes.

The Equipment & Parts Consultant will ensure compliance with all company and governmental safety instructions, policies and regulations. They need to be familiar with industry safety programs that encompass the protection of people and the environment. A good understanding of health and safety at work policies normally found in the Oil and Gas industry.

Key Job Responsibilities
Timely development and submission of equipment asset registers in a hierarchical structured format for;
Design Engineering Projects (DE)
Gaining access to project supplied P&IDs, Equipment Lists and Instrument Schedules at the earliest convenience in the project life.
Compliance with the Base Business Global Model for CMMS equipment loading through the identification and transfer of equipment tags from the asset register to the E1 Equipment Load Sheet to facilitate loading into E1’s Equipment Master.
Liaising with Operations and Projects or directly with project suppliers to ensure timely submission of complete recommended spare parts listings.
Liaising with Operations, Projects, Discipline Consultants and Materials Coordinators to ensure that where appropriate, either new stock code numbers are created or holding levels on existing stock are amended.
Ensuring that all new and existing stock codes are associated with the correct Equipment Tag No, and the Equipment Item Tag No (if applicable) through development of an Equipment Parts Lists (EPLs)
Representative for equipment registration and spare parts identification
To take an ‘ownership’ role on this entire process to ensure that it and the delivery to site of the necessary spare parts occurs before project transitions to Operations.

Special Skills / Requirements:

Experience across a broad range of mechanical, electrical instrumentation and HVAC equipment.
Basic RCM Knowledge desirable
Experience in Plant Operations desirable
