The Company:
Our client is a Multinational Chemical company which will construct, own and operate a world-scale integrated chemicals complex in Saudi Arabia. Once completed, the complex will represent the largest petrochemical facility ever built in a single phase. Our client will establish a world-scale manufacturing footprint that delivers a full range of value-added, performance products destined for the emerging markets of Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Africa.

The Role:
The purpose of this job is to develop the Equipment Reliability Strategies for the Project.
• Work with envelope reliability and maintenance engineers to gather vendor installation and operations manuals (IMOI) and extract the required data.
• Establish methodology to collect missing IMOI data
• Develop site and envelop Equipment Reliability Strategies based on the priority defined in the execution plan and schedule.
• Understands the economic impact of decisions associated with the PPM and spare parts programs and provides technical input in the Equipment Reliability Strategies.
• Gathers appropriate PPM information to be performed on existing or new equipment through research of vendor information, project team members, discipline subject matter experts, modeling outputs, Reliability Centered

Maintenance work tools, results of historical data, etc.
• Develop and/or leverage best practices to enhance the Reliability and PPM strategies across the facilities.
• Develop identified PPM and Rebuild/Overhaul procedures identified in the Equipment Reliability Strategies.

Education, Qualification & Experience
• Accredited 4 year Bachelor of Science Degree in an Engineering Discipline is required. Mechanical Engineering is Preferred.
• 5-10 years’ experience in at least one of the following areas: maintenance technical services, plant engineering, reliability engineering, project engineering, or design. Some contract management experience is preferred but not required. The experience must be, in order of preference

o Petrochemical,
o On-shore Oil & Gas

Skills & Certificates

The individual will be assigned responsibility for creating equipment maintenance procedures.
Must have knowledge of (most of items):
• Chemical Plant Maintenance Work Process and sub work process
• Reliability programs
• Understanding of PPM principles
• Facility/Equipment Maintenance Strategies

Should have knowledge of (some items):
• Chemical Plant Maintenance Work Process metrics, AMR, etc.
• Other work processes that link to Chemical Plant Maintenance Work Process
• MOC process
• Turnaround Methodology
• Reliability Engineering Principles
• Compliance/ Mechanical Integrity Standard
• Engineering standards/requirements required for repairs
• Equipment Supplier Training specific to Business Technology

Ability to speak and write English required. Ability to speak and write Arabic preferred. Preference will be given to qualified Saudi Arab candidate.
