The Company:
An oil and gas client. This role will be rotational (1 week on/1week off) based primarily in Fourchon, Louisiana with travel to Cameron, Berwick, and New Iberia.

The Role:
Provide HSE coordination and representation for company activities in regional upstream oil & gas operations, with a focus on Gulf of Mexico ESCS Logistics Activities in support of Exploration, Production operations and Project support, ensuring HSE risks are managed according to company and HSESR/SEMS standards, policies and practices.

• Manage Client related HSESR matters to ensure the timely achievement of ESCS Logistics. Support HSESR plans and objectives. Shore base Ops manual support.
• Ensure effective implementation of the GoM HSESR/SEMS Management System, standards, policies and practices, and applicable Shore base related regulations (i.e.; Drug Free Work Policy, Contraband Items, Waste Management, etc.).
• Provide specialist HSESR advice, assistance and support to the ESCS Logistics customer line managers and supervisors in Asset, Resource and Project Teams.
• Liaise with internal HSESR team members to ensure effective use of industry best practices and consistency in approach to HSESR activities.
• Work with shore base contract personnel in support of Transit Code and Shorebase Company Specific Crane Operations procedures.
• Assist with HSESR Training delivery and offshore contractor work practice verification programs (written, oral or hands-on) as requested.
• Conduct or participate in periodic HSESR field audits and inspections of marine vessels
• Provide initial incident scene security and evidence collection, participate in incident investigation teams, conduct formal incident reviews and support the preparation of supporting documentation of same both on shore and offshore.
• Maintain up-to date list of Logistics contractors in ISNetworld, schedule and conduct periodic field audits of Contractors (same) facilities or work locations.
• Warehouse activities.
• Complete weekly HSESR reports for the ESCS Logistics support area of responsibility.
• Perform risk assessments and audits of all ESCS Logistics support risk contracts to ensure compliance with Contractors HSE Management Program.
• Provide ongoing HSESR performance monitoring and evaluation of marine contractors. Participate in Logistics contractor contract closeout meetings within the S&L Contracts Management System.
• Help ensure shore base point of control for:
• Alcohol and Drug screening
• Core training – Safe Gulf, Marine Debris, HUET, etc.
• Fitness for duty (prescriptions)
• PPE
• Short service employee program

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
The required skills will demand an intimate knowledge of Marine, Shorebase and Logistics support practices and associated equipment within an offshore Oil & Gas drilling, production and facility operations environment. The position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills that demand a commitment to team performance and efficiency. This role will also be required to have proficient computer skills and superior abilities in the administration of and the accountability for Client policies and procedures.
