The Company:
Our client is a leading supplier of professional scientific and engineering consultancy services mainly to the United Kingdom nuclear industry

The Role:
Two positions available, one must have Waste Management knowledge.

Duties include:
- Work with project teams, comprising Scope Writers, Planners and Responsible Managers, to produce Lifetime Plan (LTP) cost estimates for each project.
- Develop and document estimates that comply with current requirements.
- Contribute to the development of the plan to ensure that schedule activities enable costs to be captured accurately.
- Collect additional supporting information e.g. drawings, quotations etc, to underpin quantities and rates used to produce decommissioning and other estimates.
- Produce base cost estimates using the Company Work Breakdown Structure (CWBS) and Programme Summary Work Breakdown Structure (PSWBS).
- All estimates will be developed using client's bespoke estimating excel spreadsheet.
- Assemble and maintain complete project estimate files.
- Produce optioneering estimates to support various scenarios considered by Project Team / RSRL.
- To have an understanding of Standard Methods of Measurement and be able to complete Parametric, Bottom up, Top down, Crew up and Analogous types of estimates.
- To produce and develop cost estimates associated with nuclear decommissioning within the Lifetime Plan (LTP) to meet strategic targets and formats specified by senior management.
- To analyse remaining scope of work to complete, incorporating actual composite rates and performance to develop a well underpinned Estimate to Complete (ETC) and review ETC values for trends that could result in the need for change control.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Candidates must have current BS clearance
- Previous estimating experience within in nuclear industry

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
- Waste Management knowledge
- Nuclear decommissioning experience
