The Role:
The Ethics & Compliance’s primary responsibility is to be responsible for delivering the Region's compliance under externally defined laws and regulations, the Company Code of Conduct, and related Group Standards such as the Anti Bribery and Corruption (ABC) framework, and the Fraud & Misconduct Reporting System (FMRS). In addition, this role is also responsible to conduct and support any audits related to Ethics & Compliances areas i.e. Company's Supplier ABC Compliance Audits and Suspicious Transaction Audit (“STA”). The role provides a wide exposure and strong development opportunities for candidates to learn in-depth about compliance requirements and business processes.

Key accountabilities :
Delivers the Region's compliance under externally defined laws and regulations, the Company Code of Conduct, and related Group Standards such as the Anti Bribery and Corruption (ABC) framework, and the Fraud & Misconduct Reporting System (FMRS)
Plans compliance monitoring as assigned to verify compliance with established policies and procedures and applicable regulations
Responds to alleged violations of rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and Company Code of Conduct by evaluating, or recommending the initiation of, investigative procedures
Identifies potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk; develops/implements corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues, and provides general guidance on how to avoid or deal with similar situations in the future
Develops recommendations for corrective action based on review findings and works with department management to refine recommendations
Presents findings, corrective action recommendations, and plans for implementing changes to bring department into compliance
Establishes audit controls and procedures to monitor operational effectiveness and fiscal integrity
This role involves planning; conducting/ participating and following up on compliance audits for Indonesia branch and communicate lessons learned and internal control insights to the business
Supports ABC compliance audits conducted for Indonesia branch such as Suppliers Audit Compliance (SAC), ABC audit by Group

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
minimum Bachelor degree in Business/Accounting degree
Minimum work experience 5 -10 years in finance or audit areas with cross-functional team environment that relies heavily in individual initiative and interpersonal skills
Strong English and Bahasa Indonesia communication skill
Interpersonal skills and teamwork, enabling the development and growth of strong relationships with management, peers, outside auditors, and third party personnel
Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High curiosity with ability to pursue root cause of issues faced
Able to recognize and communicate the implications of internal control weaknesses
Desirable criteria & qualifications - Strong analytical skill with excellent oral and written communication skill
Have good Financial and/or technical understanding of oil and gas assets and operations
Have mature business judgment and able to work with a minimum amount of supervision in daily activities
