The Company:
The client is a leader within the Automation and Control Systems field with operations in 100 countries worldwide. They specialise in providing integrated solutions to the Transmission and Distribution and Oil & Gas industry with projects offshore and overseas.

The Role:
Managing a busy schedule of internal and external technology based events and exhibitions. Candidates will be expected to liaise across the company and externally to co-ordinate the annual events calendar. Interpersonal skills will be important in providing on site support at events. Ability to build good internal and external links with stakeholders to ensure successful event outcome. The role will also involve marketing communications work to support the Marketing function in the business

Events Coordination
Organising a variety of events, meetings and conferences throughout the UK
Venue searching. Liaising with venues, external suppliers, speakers and internally to ensure high quality event outcome
Managing costs and event budgets
Delegate management
Providing onsite support when necessary
Assisting with the set up and maintenance of all project documentation files and records
Organising and coordinating invite lists, travel and accommodation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills will be needed.
Event follow up – Conduct review of each event in search of continuous improvement

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Event Administration, Event Logistics, Event Project Management
Significant experience in coordination of customer events
Relevant marketing / event management qualification or marketing / event management experience

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Energy Industry & B2B background or relevant industry experience
