The Company:
Is a leading Automotive manufacturer with a reputation for outstanding quality the world over. With demand increasing and an upturn in production, there is a need to bring further skills into the business to deliver on current and future projects.

The Role:
Support the department manager in the delivery of the global corporate events programme to provide a platform for the launch of new product, promotion of existing products and reinforce brand awareness and positioning through providing appropriate customer experiences. Ensure alignment to Brand Cl and consistency in the standard of company representation at all centrally organised events and transferability of best practice to regions and dealers. Coordinating across functional team to ensure careful planning, organisation and implementation of events.

Responsibility for ensuring appropriate brand and product representation at all events and maintaining brand standards. Aligned to launch strategy and compliance with the relevant processes.

Overall operational responsibility for coordinating events and ensuring full integration of the wider events team:
- Maintenance and distribution of critical path document
- Facilitating cross functional meetings
- Preparation of event specific briefing communications
- On site management of wider event team and suppliers
- Working with relevant departments to ensure all logistical requirements are in place.

Day to day management of suppliers.
- Facilitating initial tender process and preparation of relevant documents
- Appointment of supplier and establishment of SLAs
- Ongoing liaison and facilitation of all communication forums
- Performance management throughout the contracted period.

Responsibility for implementing a control process to support management of Motorshow budgetary expenditure in line with Global Purchasing and Finance/ Accounts systems and processes.
Monitoring and reporting functionality within the financial parameters of the Marketing Operations Discretionary Marketing Budget for Live Event/ Motorshow dependent upon function.
Supporting the delivery of the annual calendar of activities agreed at the outset of the Planning Round.

The role requires ad-hoc out of hours working from time to time
The role will necessitate overseas travel and a flexible working approach to accommodate job function
A global role based within the UK head office.

Skills:
Excellent Organisation and Project Management skills
Strong Communication skills - ability to work with others, relationship building
Ability to work effectively under pressure and to strict deadlines Knowledge and experience of managing large events and projects Demonstrable experience of managing agencies
Experience within a marketing function preferred Experience of dealing with regional teams preferred Experience of budget management desirable.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Confident in using Microsoft Office: Word, Excel & PowerPoint Basic knowledge of current company product portfolio Knowledge of SAP advantageous
Awareness of relevant working time regulations
Graduate Calibre or equivalent
Second language preferred but not essential (German, Mandarin, French)
Marketing qualification desirable but not essential
Current driving licence
