The Company:
A leading Australian coal seam gas explorer and producer focused on developing its world-class reserves for domestic and international supply.

The Role:
We have been asked to source several Execution Advisors, from a variety of disciplines, to act as the Owners Project Engineer on a major Coal Seam Gas (CSG) project in Queensland.

The successful candidates will work within the construction teams to ensure the project progresses forward through to operations. You will oversee the management of lease and construction activities across the project area. This role will be integral to ensuring construction works are delivered in relation to company policies, local government and institution regulations.

As part of this work scope, the Execution Advisors will oversee the work of Construction Supervisors, Construction Contractors and Service Providers to ensure that the work is completed in line with contracts for service.

Responsibilities
• Supervising the construction work of both company and contractor personnel, to ensure that the work meets contract and engineering standards
• Reporting on all project requirements and resources relating to project work
• Reviewing engineering documents and drawings for the purpose of resolving construction issues
• Managing budgets and managing change reflecting on it
• Providing direction to personnel to ensure work proceed against schedule

As part of this role, you will also be directly responsible for all construction staff allocated to them and for work coordination with peers.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, or equivalent years experience in management
• Knowledge of international standards and procedures including conditions of contract
• Knowledge and experience of Permit to Work requirements
• Experience using a structures MoC process
• Record of working as an owners representative on a lump sum, EPC oil and gas project
• Experience of conducting site inspections / audits and managing finances / budgets

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Chartered member of a relevant engineering institution
