The Company:
Our client is a major oil and gas operator that has been involved in the development of Australia’s energy resources for over a century. They are currently leading one of the world's largest resources projects based in Papua New Guinea.

The Role:
The Execution Coordinator will steward the EPC4 Contractor and anticipate potential problems and communication breakdowns, interpret the potential impact of events and foster resolution among the parties. This will require strong oral and written communication skills. The Execution Coordinator will need to have a strong technical background to help manage interfaces through to completion of the Project. The Execution Coordinator must fully understand the Project and Contractor systems as they will be expected to work within the parameters of both systems.

The Execution Coordinator position is an immediate opening and will be required through 2013. The position will be based in the Brisbane's CBD.

Responsibilities and duties:

• Assist the Project Engineer manage the closeout and report on the Risk Assessments conducted on the Project
• Assist the Project Engineer coordinate the flow of information (write letters, minutes, etc) from Company to the EPC4 Contractor
• Assist the Project Engineer interface with the PNG Government (e.g. license applications)
• Assist the Project Engineer manage execution issues that arise due to the complexity of the Project and various Contractor working in the same area
• Demonstrates behaviours which promote safety in the work place
• Support the Project Team as required by the Project Engineer

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Relevant experience in Upstream Oil & Gas design, engineering or management in an EPC contracting environment is required
• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Willingness to travel to Singapore, Papua New Guinea, and Perth in order to fulfil the responsibilities of the position
• MUST HAVE FULL RIGHT TO WORK WITHIN AUSTRALIA
