The Role:
The execution planner position is intended to be the focal planning position within the Execution team.

The business team, through project controls own the tactical scheduling for the project and the Execution Planner provides the construction planning oversight.

The Execution Planner position is responsible to have input and review the project schedule from a construction sequencing perspective, including interfacing with the Module Planner and EP planning teams.

The position interfaces with all Execution Team delivery managers to ensure the project schedule represents delivery managers input.

Additionally, the Execution Planner position is responsible to understand project permitting, analyse timing associated with Company provided regulatory permits, and highlight foreseen issues.
The position reports to the Perth based Deputy Execution Manager as his/her point of contact with planning/scheduling issues relative to the overall Construction Execution program.

• Support Execution Team leadership with schedule and execution plan related issues
• Understand, analyse, and provide support for project permitting to facilitate timely construction execution
• Interface with Execution Team Delivery Managers to ensure project schedule reflects current plan
• Point of contact for business team/project controls for execution team with regards to schedule related questions
• Support project risk management program with respect to execution related risks.
• Participate in Schedule Risk Assessments


Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Minimum Bachelor of Science level engineering degree (Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Chemical or Electrical disciplines)
• Proficient in the use and operation of project’s planning application – P6+, other Risk tools
Industry Knowledge and Experience - thorough knowledge of the oil and gas industry with experience in execution of large scale Major Capital construction Projects (MCPs)
• Engineering Design & Construction Planning Experience – Minimum 10+ years working in all phases (design, procurement and construction) of large oil and gas projects; inclExperience with Australian construction permitting
• Thorough understanding of risk management for large oil & gas projects
• Thorough understanding of construction sequencing, and integration aspects of large complex schedules
• Ability to interface with numerous people and teams remotely located across the world
