EXPEDITOR – HENDERSON, WA – LONG TERM CONTRACT – FANTASTIC PROJECT WITH LEADING EPCM JV - $$ EXCELLENT

We are currently seeking an experienced Expeditor (5 years experience) to work on one of the main supply bases in Western Australia. The Perth Supply Base, at Henderson to the south of Perth will be your location for the next year. The following job description applies:

Job Description:

• Responsible for providing a reliable tracking and expediting service to the structural steel work fabrication process, throughout all the various fabrication stages, including the surface treatment process.
• Review and monitor the structural steelwork fabrication status reports, checking the content for completeness and accuracy throughout all the fabrication phases.
• Monitor and liaise with the client and contractor logistic teams to ensure efficient expediting of the structural steel work.
• Identify problems, initiate mitigating actions and act as focal point for problems affecting the structural steel work expediting process throughout all fabrication phases, including delivery of project materials.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate any expediting actions and responses
• Identify problems impacting the overall effectiveness of the structural steel work expediting process on the project and the formulation of remedial actions.

Essential Requirements for this role:

5 years minimum experience with materials management in the Oil and Gas industry on large EPC projects
A strong understanding of Piping Materials Standards and Specifications, Logistics and Vendor Services
Very strong understanding of HSES requirements
