The Role:
Main Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

Exploration Geoscientist & Government Liason should have good knowledge of seismic data and interpretation and mapping methods. Important aspects of the role include:

- To Liaise and Communicate with Government agencies.

- To Provide Planning and Project activity support for Exploration.

- Actively involved in the provision of Company's strategy and coordinate and initiate meetings with relevent government agencies and any other companies.

- Provide input for Work Program and Budget, MCMs, AFE Approvals and closeout report to government authorities.

- Involve in cost controlling company Exploration activities.

- Update database for information of our competitors and stakeholders.

- Finding new acreage in Vietnam.

- Prepare documentation for new bid round submission to PVN.

- As a company representative in communicating with the government and relaying government's regulations to Company.

- Develop new project and prepare project proposal and gather intelligent information to support comapny strategy in oil and gas business.

- HSES awareness in all duties performed.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Qualifications & Experience:

- Education: Geological degree preferred.

- Training and Courses:
* Employee Induction including HSE Awareness

- Language: Fluent knowledge of english & vietnamese (both written and oral)

- Required Experience: 10 years of oil and gas experience

- Knowledge, Technical or Professional Skills:

* Geology and geophysics

* Information technology supports

* Network information search and management, integrated information

* Support, good written and spoken English

* Familiar with Vietnam exploration block contracts

* Familiar with New area bidding procedure

* Economics : Budgeting, cost analysis and control

* Compliance: Knowledge of legal aspects, regulations in oil and gas industry, health, safety and environment.
