The Company:
Global operator.

The Role:
Client has a requirement for a reservoir engineer to work in the exploration department and provide business critical field simulation, profile forecasting, economic evaluation, exploration & development economics. Responsible for:

* Day-to-day delivery of reservoir engineering products and documentation for new ventures, actively seek input from technical assists & reviews to improve self and team products.
* Flawless integration with the Execution and Exploration teams to continuously improve understanding of the subsurface characteristics of the plays.
* RE advisor for new ventures, license rounds, farm-ins, evaluation of exploration plays and investment opportunities
* Responsible for all Exploration production and reserve forecasts. Provide an RE input into budgets.
* Integration with current developments. Provide peer assist and review of these.
* Integration with G&G, developments, operations and economics. An understanding of these areas is essential.
* Perform reserve evaluations estimating reserves and recoveries
* Develop engineering models integrating well performance
* Conduct reservoir simulations to predict reservoir performance
* Perform technical and economic evaluations
* Make application for approvals of projects to regulatory agencies

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have the following:
* Demonstrable experience in Reservoir Engineering, preferably in dynamic reservoir modelling, simulation, reservoir surveillance and analysis, initial development concept/ design
* Experience providing reservoir input to studies performed by economists for project evaluation and optimization work
* Interest in planning and application of new technical concepts
* Keen interest in economic optimization
* Motivated self-starter
* Develop and maintain strong working relationships with field operations personnel
* Strong team player, able to integrate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver cohesive field development plans
