The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Execution Stage.

The Role:
• Mentor and manage the Australia External Affairs team
• Develop and update the company’s stakeholder engagement strategies and plans
• Analyse government policy and identify risks, issues and opportunities for the company and their LNG Project
• Provide strategic advice to senior management on issues relating to the External Affairs portfolio
• Champion Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander affairs internally and externally, including development and implementation of the Reconciliation Action Plan
• Chair the weekly Community Relations Work Group meetings
• Chair the Social Responsibility Working Group
• Prepare and manage the External Affairs team’s work program and budget
• Support the General Manager External Affairs and Joint Venture as required

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Demonstrated experience in managing issues and community relationships within the oil and gas or resources industry.
• Well-developed networks with government and in the community
• Demonstrated experience and understanding of oil and gas projects.
• Strong communicator
• Diplomatic style
