The Company:
Our client is an Engineering Services company, who are an international technical consultancy, providing a range of services including licence to operate, asset management, manufacturing improvement and capital investment to customers in the chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and consumer industries worldwide

The Role:
Our client is seeking to recruit an External Sales Engineer to expand the after sales activities in its Low Voltage Systems business.

Tasks:
• The role will involve identifying and delivering opportunities for servicing and maintenance activities on the large installed base of our client's and third party switchgear in the UK (Southern Region)
• Liaising with customers to satisfy their needs for effective breakdown support
• Liaising with our client's existing team of field basedSales Engineers who sell new switchboard systems• Interact with our client's team of Installation, Test and Design Engineers and will require regular consultation with colleagues working on current projects
• To constantly seek to improve quality standards in all aspects of our operations

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Familiarity with all aspects of the design and installation of Low Voltage Switchgear, and the ability to persuade clients of the value of regular maintenance activities (e.g. visual inspection, thermography, servicing of breakers / fuseswitches, provision of adequate spares) to ensure their continuity of supply is not compromised
