The Company:
Our Client is one of the world's largest Oil and Gas companies. Their operations cover the entire energy chain, including oil exploration and production to trading, shipping and refining and marketing of petroleum products, as well as chemicals. The Role:
Main duties ONSHORE ( Routine FM works ) to include:-

• Be fully familiar with the Fabric Maintenance routine work scopes and ensure they are being maintained in SAP
• Liaise with offshore Maintenance Superintendents to ensure that priority FM scopes are being identified and responsible for their progression
• Ensure that the extent of the works have been fully understood and agreed with Inspection / Fabric Maintenance contractor
• Liaise closely with contractor and planner to ensure works are progressing to plan
• Maintain close liaison with the Client coatings Technical Authority to ensure that all contractor’s paint and insulation applications are compliant with company specifications
• Conduct regular visits to offshore sites to review progress of workscopes


Main duties ONSHORE (Campaign preparations) In addition to the above :-

• Ensure contractors pre mobilisation training / inductions of personnel have been completed
• Review and approve contractor’s work packs, ensure they are clear / concise and have been stored in Doc.uk
• Ensure contractor has a robust quality control system and be prepared to monitor / audit this
• Ensure the platform management fully understand what will be required to complete zone areas with minimum disruption consideration of other discipline requirements.

Main duties OFFSHORE ( During campaign works) to include:-

• Ensure FM contractor is performing works in a safe manner and that regular safety timeouts / incident reporting is being conducted
• Be fully aware of all the Client coatings and Insulation specifications and know who to contact in the event of any technical query
• Ensure quality control of coatings application is being maintained by contractor and completion certificates are accurate / well documented.
• Ensure quality of Insulation application ( where appropriate )
• Ensure competency and training of contractors personnel is maintained to the highest standards
• Review and approve any variations to the original work scopes
• Daily co-ordination with onshore FM Co-ordinator and issue of a detailed weekly report to include any safety incidents, progress against plan and any concerns regarding the work
• Attend daily planning / progress meetings
• Close liaison with contractor FM campaign manager
• Be aware of campaign budget and act as signatory for approval of contractor’s timesheets, ensuring that these are accurate and within budget
• Act as signatory for contractors plant and equipment and responsible for weekly audit in conjunction with contractor’s campaign manager
• Ensure that estimation of work scope is accurate and is fully planned to reflect these estimates
• Issue a close out report at the end of any campaign

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Experience in fabric maintenance programmes offshore
• Experience in management of 3rd party contractors and highlighting / dealing with any concerns
• Excellent verbal and written skills with ability to communicate at all levels of organisation
• Valid offshore certification and ability to work onshore and offshore as described above
