The Company:
Our client is a leading EPCM company who specialise in providing asset support solutions across Australia and South East Asia including engineering, operations, maintenance and upgrades of existing facilities both onshore and offshore.

The Role:
Our Client is looking for an Offshore Fabric Maintenance Coordinator to Maintain routine surveillance and monitoring of coating and insulation activities
Your duties will include but not limited to:
• Responsible for the completion of daily coatings reports and issued prior to final inspections of coatings to be carried out by the Offshore Coatings Coordinators and the compilation of MDR documents for QA/QC coordinator review.
• Fault finding and problem solving with equipment and tooling
• Significant experience in the use of slurry, dry, bi-carbonate and ultra high water pressure blasting methods
• Significant experience in the application of various coating systems
• A good understanding of the operations of surface preparation and coatings equipment

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
In order to be considered you will have the ability to demonstrate knowledge, capability and competence in the following commercial, technical and interpersonal aspects:
• Complete Leadership Expectation Awareness Training within 6 months of obtaining the position.
• Ausjet Hydro Blast supervisors course
• Wide range of experience with slurry blasting, dry abrasive blasting, bi-carbonate blasting and ultra high water pressure blasting and jetting
• Minimum of 6 years collective experience on the tools as an abrasive blaster/painter working in a team of 4-6 employees
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a team/leader/ supervisor of coating teams consisting of 4 to 6 people
• Significant and relevant industry experience in the field of Protective Coatings or possess industry type accreditations
• Experience in the supervision of expat and TCN labour
• Knowledge of Quality Control management systems & their documentation related to trade.
• NACE level 1 (or higher) qualifications
