The Company:
Our Client is an international energy service company with £5bn sales, employing more than 29,000 people worldwide and operating in 50 countries.
The group consists of 3 divisions being Engineering and Production Facilities, Well Support and Gas Turbine Services.
Our Client is an international leader in both marginal field developments, in life-of-field engineering and in production support.

The Role:
As Fabrication Co-ordinator, you would:

o Maintain Project fabrication register
o Involvement in technical bid evaluations
o Visit local fabricators to monitor progress and ensure timely inspection release of fabricated items
o Liaise with 3rd party inspection providers as required to ensure that inspections are effectively planned, executed and reported.
o Liaise with procurement buyers and material controllers to ensure communication of fabrication status is maintained
o Liaise with technical disciplines to resolve any queries
o Liaise with Construction to support planning and offshore delivery
o Ensure appropriate quality records are maintained to provide full traceability of fabrications.
o Report on fabricator performance, raising NCR's and Preventive actions where necessary

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Education & Qualifications:
Welding inspection qualification would be an advantage


Specific Training / Specialist Skills:
Commercial awareness for tendering purposes


Experience:
Understanding of weld procedures and fabrication quality control processes and systems


Personal Skills:
Good oral and written communication skills
Good team player - understanding the needs of others
