The Company:
Joining a Multi-national team based in one of the World's Largest Fabrication yards, this is an exciting long term (10 years+) role for an experienced Fabrication Project Engineer be part of a World Class Development.
The role will be based in Okpo, Geoje Island on a local basis (No Visa Sponsorship Available) and will report to the Reporting to Project Engineering Manager-Okpo
for this World Class Project

The Role:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
*Support all HSE Activities / Initiatives. Observe for unsafe acts / unsafe conditions and raise observation cards.
*Participate in Behavioral Based Safety (BBS). Fully support and participate in all Injury and Incident Free (IIF) initiatives through reaching out and communicating with Contractors Staff and trades personnel.
*Compliance with Ethics policies.
*Adheres to Project Execution Procedures.
*Reporting to Fabrication Project Engineering Manager
*Understand KPI targets and monitor progress and have a perspective towards the contractor focus on meeting targets.
*Assist the Fabrication Yards Management Team and fabrication contractors with the accurate interpretation of Issued for Construction piping documents.
*Coordinate technical support across each site. Advise on discipline engineering manpower for each area of Work.
*Assist to resolve technical issues. Ensure RFI's are answered correctly and in a timely manner. Track outstanding RFI's.
*Engage SME's where required to maintain technical integrity. Ensure appropriate groups are involved decision making and review.
*Ensure documents and specifications are latest versions and updated as required to reflect RFI's etc. Ensure processes are robust to deliver final technical data book contents/As Built
*Coordination between CVX and Contractor Construction Engineering / Production Technology Groups and ensure the interface with Project Home Office Engineering group
*Monitor Contractors Construction Engineering plan and deliverables progress.
*Seek out and apply best practices from other projects. Capture and share best practices and lessons learned from project planning and execution.
*Input to the Site weekly report on the status of Interface items, RFI's, Design and Construction Engineering deliverables, PO technical approval status etc
*Coordinate review of relevant fabrication documents including drawings and procedures as required to ensure that fabrication proceeds in accordance with Company and regulatory requirements
*Monitor discipline scheduling, risk identification and management.
*Reviewing and responding to field technical queries, preparing, submitting and follow-up of RFIs, concerning the piping necessary.
*Identifies and elevates potential changes in contract scope.
*Participates in change management by providing technical input and support to Project Controls and Contracts groups.
*Develop excellent working relationships with Company and Contractors teams assisting Fabrication Contractor in all his endeavors and objectives observing quality codes and standards.
*Monitor status of contractor incorporation of final vendor data into PDMS model
