The Role:
Primary Functions:

• Actively participate in LTC / CoP HSE initiatives and systems such as STOP and PSI and promote a safe working environment to achieve the project goals.
• Take a proactive approach to incorporating safety into the LTC module fabrication and adopting the principle of inherent safety wherever possible.
• Focal point for all QA-QC issues at site.
• Ensure work is completed in line with site QA-QC procedures
• Verifies the running of the site DCC
• Work with Contractor to ensure the ITP is followed by the Contractor including coordination of relevant inspections.
• Liaising with the LTC Site Engineer and QA/QC Management to ensure the development of QC solutions in a timely manner
• Coordinate inspection of delivered items at site to identify shipping damage and verify documentation
• Report any deficiencies in QC resources to QC Mgr to maintain the schedule and coordinate QA-QC activities
• Ensure 3rd party (IVB) verification is coordinated and closed out in a timely manner – works with Contractor to coordinate the IVB.
• Carry out random inspections to ensure Contractor is fulfilling contractual requirements.
• Raises and ensures NCR’s are closed satisfactorily.
• Liaise with and expedite information from home office engineering, procurement and QA-QC groups.
• Audit site team performance.
• Reviews Contractor’s procedures and provides comments for incorporation.
• Carry out ITP witness, monitor and review activities
• Monitor fabrication and assembly works to ensure all Specifications and Standards are met.
• Provides input into site weekly report
• Act as signatory on inspections and mechanical completions
• Monitor preservation activities to ensure compliance with supplier procedures
• Monitor and audit Contractors

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Critical Skills:

• HND / Diploma or equivalent education.
• Relevant QA / QC qualifications - membership of MCQI or CQP
• Leadership ability in Quality Assurance and control management within the oil and gas industry to enable effective liaison with Contractor
• Extensive experience working on site with large fabrication Contractors
• Solid understanding of upstream projects and topside module fabrication scopes
• Experience in lump sum contracts
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with lump sum Contractors.
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Structured and disciplined approach to work
• Self motivated
• Accountable and delivers on commitments

• Offshore experience
• Good management presentation, IT and reporting skills
• Dresser Rand equipment experience
• Britannia Experience
• Commercial and contractual awareness
• QC qualifications or experience in welding, NDE, painting
