The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
Member of a site based multifunctional project team responsible for subsea equipment and pipelines procurement, construction and installation activities associated with the Upstream development.

Reporting to the Subsea Structures & Spools Fabrication Engineer, this individual has particular responsibility for the supervision and technical assurance of all activities associated with the fabrication, testing and load out of flowline structures to be performed by the installation contractor. The structures consist of PLET’s, subsea heads and inline tees.

Specific Roles and Responsibilities include:

• Oversee fabrication, testing and load out of all structures. The structures shall all be fabricated by the Installation Contractor and the successful candidate will work closely with the Installation Contractor to ensure all Company requirements are met.

• Responsibility for ensuring QA/QC Installation Contractor and Fabrication Contractor’s strategies, philosophies, plans and schedules for fabrication and construction activities comply with Contract requirements.

• Coordinate inspection contractors and inspection requirements for material and equipment associated with fabrication, construction and offshore installation.

• Provide onsite Fabrication support to Installation contractor and Fabrication Contractor personnel.

• Provide field resolution solutions to fabrication issues as they arise.

• Interface with subject matter experts on welding, materials and corrosion, NDT, field joint coating, fabrication, quality control, engineering, system integration testing and factory acceptance testing and commissioning to ensure that Company Technical Requirements are met and ensure Company technical specialists are effectively utilized.

• Assist with the delivery of quality fabrication / construction documents and procured materials to meet the construction schedule.

• Assist the Subsea Structures & Spools Fabrication Engineer to ensure effective project closeout including documentation at end of construction.

• Support project wide safety initiatives including development and implementation of an Incident & Injury free (IIF) culture and Safety Management Plan(s).

• Maintain positive and effective working relationship with Installation Contractor and Fabrication Subcontractor personnel during onshore fabrication.

• The position will be based full time at the fabrication yard, however may also involve visits to Perth office.
