The Company:
Our client is a leading global oil and gas operating company.

The Role:
This role functions within a 3-month to 1-year time horizon reporting on a daily work basis to one or more Project Leads while managing the tactical execution of specifically assigned fabrication projects.

Supports the Project Construction Superintendent and Construction Supervisors.

This position will spend a majority of their time physically embedded with the Project Fabricators at their facilities.

Work locations may include Anchorage, Fairbanks, Kenai, the Pacific North West, or the Alaskan North Slope as required to support the Company Project.

Accountability
HSE
•Perform jobsite walk-downs during jobsite visits.
•Participate in Contractor toolbox and weekly safety meetings when on site.
•Review Contractor Task Hazard Analysis (THA)/Job Safety Analysis (JSA)/Job Hazard Analysis during jobsite visits.
•Perform safe performance recognitions during jobsite visits.
•Input pro-active measures information into the Company PMT Participation database.
•Coordinate with the Fabricator the development and implementation of “Safe Visitor Protection Program” to ensure the safety of Company visitors at the fabrication location.
•Perform Behavior Based Safety observations.
•Coordinate visits by various Company Project Team members (engineering, procurement, project completions, QA, etc.) with the Fabricator.

Training
•Ensure all compliance training is complete and up to date.
•Become a trained observer and support the Company Behavior Based Safety (BBS) processes (WINGS, BEAR, and/or HAWKS).

Fabrication Execution
•Act as the interface between Fabricator and the Company Project Team.
•Facilitate a transition from Fabrication to the field.
•Facilitate periodic Fabrication Progress/Performance Review meetings (on behalf of the Project Leader/Manager).

Quality Control / Quality Assurance
•Ensure implementation of all design requirements during fabrication, scope of work, engineered drawings, specifications, standards, etc.
•Coordinate the development of Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) for quality issues identified during fabrication.
•Coordinate the disposition of NCR’s by Fabricator.

Schedule
•Oversee the fabrication execution to ensure alignmentin accordance with the project schedule.
•Direct schedule adjustments to ensure efficient and cost effective execution.
•Ensure alignment of schedule objectives with the Fabrication Contract

Human Resource Management
•Define and request through the Construction Superintendent the number, type, duration and competency level of Fabrication resources needed for the project.

Integrated Change Management
•Implement the Company Change Management Standard through the use of the Project Change Request (PCR).

Fabrication Project Completion, Pre-Commissioning, & Startup Support
•Implement completion plans via the SAP Project Completion System (PCS) or other systems.
•Lead fabrication resources in the development of Incomplete Work Lists (IWL’s), Carryover (Transfer) Work Lists (CWL’s), and the implementation of completion plans.
•Coordinate FCO activities including involvement by vendors, other contractors, Operations, and Engineering Contractors.
•Lead fabrication resources in fabricated component (i.e. module, skid, etc.) shipping preparations and load-out.

Closeout/Lessons Learned
•Perform fabrication contract closeout.
•Coordinate the transmittal redline drawings to Engineering and Installation Contractors in accordance with the Engineering Projects Documentation Data Requirements Manual (EPDDRM).
•Document lessons learned.

Materials/Logistics
•Engage the appropriate resources to Coordinate the resolution of resolve material issues (procurement of materials, andmaterials handling, logistics, expediting, availability, etc.)and availability issues.
•Coordinate the Fabricator’s management of inventory, materials documentation, materials packaging, etc.

Logistics
•Coordinate the shipping preparation and load-out of fabricated components (i.e. module, skid, ship loose materials, etc.).Manage fabrication resources in the inventory, documentation, packaging, and load-out of ship loose materials as directed by the Site Materials Specialist.
Sourcing (Contract) Development and Management

Contract Management
•Lead the pre-job meeting(s).
•Implement the Company Readiness Process and recommend approval for Contractor mobilization.
•Manage the field implementation of all Company construction Fabrication ccontracts.
•Provide day to day management of the Fabrication Contract.
•Implement the Request for Information (RFI) procedure for the resolution of Scope of Work Definition.

Risk Management
•Implement identified risk mitigation/avoidance plans.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•High School Diploma or equivalent
•Legally authorized to work in the United States on a regular full-time basis without restrictions.
•Must carry valid State of Alaska, Electrical Journeyman License.
•A minimum of 12 years of experience in Electrical Construction projects, specifically within the oil and gas industry.
•Ability to read, understand and decipher all projects documents to include: P&ID drawings, Heat Trace ISO drawings, one-line drawings, loop and termination drawings, cable and conduit routing drawings and cable tray installation drawings.
•Strong demonstrable interpersonal / team building skills.
•Ability to work away from home at remote construction sites and work seamlessly and effectively with a functional alternate on a rotational schedule.
•Experience with steel fabrication, welding, bolt ups, electrical, instrumentation, and architectural applications with regards to Alaskan North Slope fabrication and installation methodologies.

•Strong demonstrated leadership, communication, public speaking, ability to influence, and organizational skills.
•Ability to demonstrate a strong knowledge base and a thorough understanding of Fire and Gas detection systems, process instrumentation, PLC’s, motor control centers and power distribution to include medium voltage systems. Must demonstrate an intimate knowledge of electrical installation within classified areas.
•Demonstrate a thorough understanding and knowledge of the NEC and will be required to become familiar with ConocoPhillips Electrical Construction specifications and standards.
