The Company:
Is a leading Automotive manufacturer with a reputation for outstanding quality the world over. With demand increasing and an upturn in production, there is a need to bring further skills into the business to deliver on current and future projects.

The Role:
The Logistics and facilities Co-ordinator provides the Quality Whole Vehicle Function with Vehicle parts procurement and distribution for Reliability Vehicles in addition to Workshop Facilities support during the Launch of new Projects

1 Logistics

• Ordering spare parts for Reliability Vehicles as requested from GQQ/W and VW GQG
• Preparing Parts for distribution
• Taking delivery of parts and maintaining Parts Store
• Arranging distribution of parts to Stations UK and World Wide
• Arranging Transport for complete Vehicles to GQG Stations as required
• Maintaining records of orders and deliveries
• Dealing with queries regarding Parts procurement and distribution

2 Reliability

• Determining Winter Tyre requirements
• Preparing Winter tyres for distribution to Stations

3. Systems

• Co-ordinating Licences IDEX/ Elsa / ODIS etc

4. Facilities

• Maintaining equipment calibration Log for Tools and Measurement equipment
• Co-ordinating the Maintenance of PC / Diagnostik equipment
• Raising and chasing maintenance requests for Facilities and equipment

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Good numerical skills
• Good problem solving skills
• Good Self-management and co-ordination skills
• Good Communication skills written and verbal
• Good data analysis skills
• Demonstrable team working skills
• German language skills to minimum CEFR Level A2 desired
• Proven PC Skills MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

PRACTICAL & TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE

• Basic understanding of Motor Vehicle and Systems function
• Basic understanding of Motor Vehicle assembly

QUALIFICATIONS

• GSCE in Maths, English & Science minimum
• Higher technical qualification in a technical/scientific desired
• German language to GCSE / CEFR Level A2 desired
