The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
As a Facilities & Site Services Project Manager / Leader( we are looking for HEVAC biased) you will potentially manage all aspects of a given project refurbishment / maintenance installations, across Gaydon & Whitley. You will need to be customer focused delivering projects to cost, quality and timing, managing customer expectations and any conflict along the way. A further task would be to define and record best practice through standards / standardisation meetings for the wider teams.

Essential Experience & Qualifications:
As Project Manager, you will ensure that each project is run efficiently and safely, in line with in-house client expectations and company guidelines, (we are looking for someone biased to HEVAC). This will involve the day-to-day management of HVAC and building services projects with direct responsibility for contract delivery, including generating scopes of work devised from in house clients projects/issues, raising financial approval, planning and programming of works, and management of contractors. You will be required to attend client meetings, acting as a technical and project lead and provide a high quality service and be responsible for projects consistently monitoring and reporting on the progress of each project to each stakeholder and your line manager with project values from £10k to £1million. The successful candidate should have/be: Excellent communication skills oral and written. Good presentation skills. Planning and time management skills, An understanding of budget control. A good team player. Self-motivated. Not afraid to report out to senior management.
To be considered for this role, it is essential you have experience of managing the full project lifecycle and assuming complete financial control of projects you are managing. You must possess the ability to manage the project in its entirety. You will need to demonstrate a clear career history of successfully delivering projects on time to a high standard and with utmost consideration of safety. A Project Manager should have the experience to manage all types of projects and sub-contractors. You will need have an understanding of timing, cost & quality control. With a further understanding of design drawings and use 2D AutoCAD along with Microsoft Office suite.
A good school and college education is a must. Also have 3 years minimum experience as project engineer

Desirable Experience & Qualifications:
Be able to monitor project costs and/or adjustments, paying attention to the original margins set and advising management when deviations occur. Co-ordinate and maintain all engineering documents, and design change information.
Knowledge of facilities planning and construction management process, Knowledge of construction materials and methods along with supervisory practise and principles.
