The Company:
Our client is a large multi-national organization which explores, develops, produces and markets crude oil, gas and sulfur. They pride themselves in conducting operations in accordance with the world–class safety and environmental standards.

The Role:
Provide Infrastructure and Facility camps/compounds discipline engineering providing engineering, drafting, design and project discipline engineering to support Companies Infrastructure and Facilities Management Project Group with small Capital Construction and Maintenance programs. This includes responsibility for work on a wide variety of facilities including:

General infrastructure such as buildings, warehouses and camp facilities
Electrical Power Generation & Distribution.
Fire Detection / Alarm Systems
Fire & Gas detection Systems
Heating Centers (Boilers and Boiler Houses)
Water Treatment
Waste Water Treatment

Essential Position Functions:
a.Develop Project Execution plans
b.Develop basic execution schedules, deliverables, estimates, and detailed plans for all phases of Projects. From Conceptual to Commissioning and to Handover of Project to Facility Owners and Operators.
c.Development of discipline engineering specifications.
d.Design and engineer electrical systems, subsystems, and equipment.
e.Coordination and review of off-site discipline engineering work performed by engineering service contractors.
f.Specification and supervision of site survey work.
g.Production of discipline engineering of new (and modifications to existing) Camp Facilities compounds built to support Oils & Gas and Petrochemical industry, and production of “Approved for Construction” work packages.
h.Specification and order documentation for purchasing materials and equipment. Can include coordination activities with vendors/suppliers.
i.Develop schedules and estimates for the discipline.
j.Provide Field E&I Engineering support to Construction Group.
k.Provide technical information for different types of materials used in construction with the Camp Facilities supporting the oil & gas industry.

Special Skills / Requirements:
Electrical: Must have understanding of typical Camp and infrastructure engineering deliverables such, electrical single line drawings, datasheets, specifications, etc. Knowledge of electrical system studies, protection schemes, determination of fault levels and discrimination settings would be an advantage, develop Classification Areas. Must have good communication skills and be able to function in a multicultural environment.

Instrument & Controls: Must have understanding of typical Camp and infrastructure engineering deliverables such as P&ID’s, instrument loop diagrams Should have some knowledge of Instrument & Controls used in infrastructure and camp facilities supporting the oil & gas industry.

Fire & Gas Detection Systems: Must have thorough knowledge in order to complete system Cause & Effects matrices from P&IDs and similar for Fire & Gas Detection Systems. Must be able to carry out risk analysis evaluation and determine & recommend the applicable Safety Integrity Level (SIL) rating.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Candidates must have a minimum of 10-15 years experience, preferably within the Infrastructure and Facility camps built to support the Oil & Gas industries. Experience working with western engineering and design international companies and/or organizations. Worked on numerous small to medium size projects is preferable. Experience developing and controlling small Infrastructure and Facilities Management projects is required, i.e. design, AutoCAD drafting, develop and/or review specifications, develop Scope of Works and Job Packs. Prepare schedules and material requisitions. Field assistance to construction contractors in coordination with Construction Representatives. Strong in electrical, fire detection and instrumentation engineering & design.

Must have an Engineering Degree in Electrical Engineering. Must have an in depth understanding of International Codes and Standards such as, PUE, GOST, SNIP, RoK, etc. related to the discipline required. In addition, must be familiar with t
