The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
The department is responsible for the provision and maintenance of buildings, infrastructure, plant and equipment serving the Whitley & Gaydon sites. Operating on a single day shift, there may be a call to operate out of Whitley dependent on workload. Operating from a central facilities workshop, you will be responsible for developing our Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Maintaining the site upkeep for mechanical, electrical, building services and general site problems whilst also planning a preventative maintenance schedule for onsite maintenance. To maintain a safe working environment using SBIs, RAMS, Medgate and other safety tools as required.

3 Key Skirls:
1) Experience of Computer Maintenance Management Systems and/or asset management
2) · At least five years experience in a Maintenance, Works Engineers or Site Services function.
3) · Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or Facilities Management or equivalent experience.

Experience Required:
-To support the Facilities & Site Services department and Workshop Supervisor for the control and maintenance upkeep of any site services, infrastructure and facilities on the Gaydon & Whitley Sites.
-Experience of Computer Maintenance Management Systems and/or asset management
-Strong Project Management skills with experience of delivering facility installations, especially commissioning of new equipment and processes
-To assist in the control of maintenance operations within a departmental budget and coordinate day to day maintenance activities via the eTracker maintenance tool, progressing the current system into a Site Services CMMS.
-Flexibility is key to this role as this will include liaising with Site Services customers across the sites, managing their expectations and organizing review meetings with the zone leaders to give status on current and planned works
-Good interpersonal and `brokerage skills such as negotiation, persuasion, flexibility and problem solving
-Must be capable of applying statistical analysis techniques
-Good knowledge of MS Office Applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Project)

Experience Preferred:
-Construction engineering or related subject degree.
-Knowledge of facilities planning and construction management process
-Knowledge of construction materials and methods along with supervisory practise and principles.

Additional Information :
-Additional Information: 40 hour week - 15.30 Friday finish
-The role requires the successful candidate may need to travel between the two main sites of Whitley and Gaydon with additional support at off site locations as and when required.
