The Company:
Is a leading international operator working on major projects in Iraq.

The Role:
Principal Accountabilities :


1. Assist the Facilities Engineers to ensure all camp facilities and systems are properly constructed and that proper processes and procedures are in place to demonstrate as such.
2. Ensure all CONTRACTORS personnel have proper and appropriate PTW and health certificates, where appropriate.
3. Conducts frequent and scheduled/unscheduled inspections and checks to check adherence to accepted standards of sanitization and applicable HSSE regulations. Be able to advise and support CONTRACTOR on the clearance and closure of any non-conformances raised as a result of such inspections. .
4. Prepare and present COMPANY and contract demanded reports, conduct scheduled meetings and minute and follow up such meetings.
5. Understand the contract Scope of Work and be aware of what requires sign-off and/or ordered.
6. Assist Company site rep with execution of the contract and proper contract management
7. Ensure the contractors HSE plan is implemented and accurate reporting takes place.
8. Supervise contractually demanded fire/emergency drills.
9. Ensure CONTRACTOR has all personnel and equipment on site to meet CONTRACT and operational requirements.
10. Report and investigate any HSE incidents
11. Liaise with Facilities O&M and Front End Development Manager through the Facilities Engineers as required.

Be familiar with and enforce all COMPANY’S policies and procedures associated with safe site operation, including but not limited to:

1. Mandatory utilisation of correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
2. Knowledge of Emergency Procedures,
3. The use of emergency equipment.
4. Report HSE violations, accidents and near misses.
5. Attend and actively participate in organised safety meetings.
6. Attend mandatory training courses / annual assessments as programmed by COMPANY management.
7. Compliance with the COMPANY Drugs and Alcohol procedures
8. Ensure HSE meetings are held, recorded and actions closed out.

KEY Challenges

• Ensure HSE standards are maintained in Contractors operations and maintenance activities
• Assist Company representative in maintaining proper contract administration

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
1. Have high level competency with MS Office suite, especially word/excel and PP.
2. Have recognized qualifications or 5/6 checkable experience in either catering and or hospitality management
3. Able to read, write and converse in fluent English as well as Arabic and have experience in dealing in a mixed race, multi-cultural environment and staff of at least 50 personnel
4. Have recognized qualifications or 5/6 yrs checkable experience in working in oilfield installations and their operation.
