The Role:
•Responsible for System Engineering and Technical Integrity across sub-projects (Topside, LQ, Jacket, SURF, T&I, Completion), D&W, Flotel, Onshore operations center.
•Responsible for ensuring development of detailed level 5 schedules with dependencies on System engineering and Technical Integrity deliverables
•Facilities System engineering and Technical Integrity, and responsible for implementing functional requirement, basis of design, scope of work, DETOR, NORSOK and all Norwegian regulatory requirements.
•Timely delivery of all System Engineering and Technical Integrity deliverables with content and sequence according to defined need dates
•Engineering Manager in Facilities Management team. System disciplines, Electro, SAS, Gas lift, Oil & gas processing, and Engineering manager to work towards first drilling and first oil. Project Engineer to follow up processes for start pre-drilling 2015 and first oil 2016
•Engineering manager to set up team with dedicated technical resources ensuring overall system responsibility and Technical integrity
•Overall system integration across sub-projects and towards Operations, Flotel, D&W and onshore operations center.
•Interface Management – according to EPC Contractors Main Interface Responsibilities
•Ensure that Operational, Construction, Hook-up and Completion input is incorporated in Detail Design
•Technical input to and reply to Technical Queries from EPC Contractors

•Lead by example in HSE, Quality and open communication with team and Contractors within Engineering Scope of Work
•Determining and managing risks and mitigating actions relevant to the responsibilities of the position
•Proactively identify changes in work scope related to engineering and ensure appropriate planning measures are taken
•Proactively identification of challenges, bottlenecks and mitigating measures for the EPC Contractor engineering team and execution capability
•Follow up, review and report according to determined reporting structure and schedule
•Ensure that Lessons Learned is appropriately considered in the Topside Engineering Team.
•Monitor contractor's reporting within engineering and investigate any anomalies

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Education:
•University degree in engineering or other relevant field
•Performed Norwegian client's Module A and B courses in Applied Project Management

•Experience:
•10-15 years experience in managing and executing major Oil and Gas EPC projects
•10-15 years experience with Project Management principles/tools
•In depth experience of the detail engineering processes
•Knowledge of relevant laws and official regulations applicable for the position
•Fluent in English, verbal and written

•Good communication skills
•Ability to make decisions and drive progress
•Network effectively, negotiate well and influence people
•Be aware of the broader perspective and how it affects the project
