The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
• Provide on the ground supervision of contractor stores and logistics bases spread across BWI.
• Act as a general supervisor as required.
• Act as lead site superintendent on an as required basis.
• Responsible for the safe and efficient operation and daily planned deployment of services support to maximum effectiveness in supporting construction operations.
• Responsible for ensuring that all Operations teams Safe Operating and Maintenance Procedures are relevant and are competently applied with by all associated personnel.
• Regularly audits the operational performance of plant and equipment to ensure that these facilities are performing to design requirements. Schedule, plan, and execute maintenance shutdowns to ensure minimum impact to construction activities.
• Responsible for overseeing those operational activities that achieves and maintains world class uptime performance of all critical production process equipment and facilities. Interfaces with the Perth-based Procurement, Project Controls and Contracts management teams to understand and support material supply, schedule, cost, and construction philosophies related to the construction scope of work.
• Ensures facilities are constructed per applicable industry and company specifications and standards. Interfaces with the Quality team in matters related to conformance in assigned work scope areas and construction standards and methodologies. Assists in the conduct of Quality audits.
• Effectively manages and controls change. Applies Project Development and Execution Process and Capital Stewardship principles to maintain effective communications and the free flow of information between work groups in order to assess and minimize the impact of concession requests, schedule changes, and technical interface queries.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• 5 years post graduate experience or 10 years post trade experience with previous experience in a multi discipline Operations supervisory role, specifically in the field of Marine operations.
• Suitable Mechanical/Electrical trade or engineering qualifications.
• Must demonstrate a strong safety culture. Commits to and champions developing and implementing ways to ensure a safe work place for those working on BWI, and the ongoing effort to establish and maintain an incident and injury free culture.
• Ability to influence actions of others not directly reporting to this position (Contractors and Company).
• Demonstrated ability to work with cross functional groups.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
