The Company:
Our Client is a reputed Operations and Maintenance company in Qatar with core focus on hard & soft services, facility management and specialist services. They are currently looking to recruit a Facilities Manager who would report to the Project Director for their Hospital project in Qatar.

The Role:
Develop a first class service to support complex, multi disciplined sites and the requirements of the client
Implementation of continuous improvement and best practise strategies to ensure a consistently high level of service delivery, response times and contract compliance
Prepare business plans and forecasting budgets as required
Ensure all budgets and costs for contracts accurately reflect contractual obligations, offer value for money to clients, and provide optimum revenue.
Ensure that activities meet and integrate with the organizational requirements for quality management, Health & safety, legal & statutory requirements and general duty of care
Identify & develop, implement & review FM based solutions that clearly demonstrate added value to clients requirements
Maintain strategic overview on service progress both from a commercial & technical perspective
Maximize life cycle of the contract by aligning the FM team with the business drivers of the client
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, contingency plans, emergency response procedures, preventive maintenance programmes and all technical documentation
Develop & maintain strong and supportive relationships with clients, service providers & third parties
Develop & prepare all periodic progress, engineering & management reports as required
Foster & develop beneficial partnerships. Develop & nurture relationships with key clients & contractual service delivery requirements. Attend monthly review meetings.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
3+ years in depth experience in a similar role preferably in a healthcare environment
Knowledge of FM services and/or technical experience including air conditioning & industrial refrigeration, MEP, electrical & civil works, Also critical systems engineering in healthcare establishments
Management of service levels, performance standards and customer satisfaction. Monitor & drive achievement of KPI's
Degree level of education in mechanical/ electrical engineering as a minimum HNC
Knowledge of JCI & HTM standards
Institute Leadership management (ILM) and/or City & guilds (C&G) authorized person (AP) qualification
Recognized project management qualification
Strong IT skills
