The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
My operator Client has a requirement for a Facilities Supervisor (B2B). The role will run until the end of June 2016. The position is FIFO to Barrow Island (BWI) on a 28/28 rotation.

80% Technical Responsibilities
• Responsible for the safe, reliable and environmentally sound maintenance of all onshore and offshore marine facilities on the Project that fall under maintenance contracts. This includes maintenance of small craft landings, Bobs beach, Land Back Wharf, Groyne Barge Berth etc. This work scope also covers the offshore diving scope of the contract which includes Navigation Aid inspections, Brine sampling etc.
• Ensure the operations and maintenance contractors pro-actively utilize a maintenance management system and processes to schedule, plan and execute activities to ensure reliable, safe, efficient and cost effective facility and equipment performances.
• Work in conjunction with the contractor to align resources against priority work scopes to limit down time of equipment.
• Provide on the ground supervision of contractor stores and logistics bases spread across BWI.
• Act as a general supervisor as required.
• Act as lead site superintendent on an as required basis.
• Responsible for the safe and efficient operation and daily planned deployment of services support to maximum effectiveness in supporting Gorgon construction operations.
• Responsible for ensuring that all Operations teams Safe Operating and Maintenance Procedures are relevant and are competently applied by all associated personnel.
• Regularly audits the operational performance of plant and equipment to ensure that these facilities are performing to design requirements. Schedule, plan, and execute maintenance shutdowns to ensure minimum impact to construction activities.
• Responsible for overseeing those operational activities that achieves and maintains world class uptime performance of all critical production process equipment and facilities. Interfaces with the Perth-based Procurement, Project Controls and Contracts management teams to understand and support material supply, schedule, cost, and construction philosophies related to the construction scope of work.
• Ensures facilities are constructed per applicable industry and Client specifications and standards. Interfaces with the Quality team in matters related to conformance in assigned work scope areas and construction standards and methodologies. Assists in the conduct of Quality audits.
• Effectively manages and controls change.

20% Health, Safety, Environment and Quarantine (HSEQ)
• Manages the day-to-day interface with both contractors and subcontractors, providing a focus on safety, environment and quarantine together with quality and engineering aspects. Assures that contractor and subcontractors environment, safety, health and quarantine deliverables and compliance requirements are established and maintained.
• Commits to and champions the development and implementation of a safe working environment for everyone on the project and the continuing establishment of an Incident and Injury Free (IIF) culture.
• Familiar with Operational Excellence Management System (OEMS) tools. Participates in the site Total Safety Task Observation (TSTO), Step Back 5X5 and Hazard Intervention and Reporting Card (HIRC) processes.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• 5 years post graduate experience or 10 years post trade experience with previous experience in a multi discipline Operations supervisory role, specifically in the field of Marine operations.
• Suitable Mechanical/Electrical trade or engineering qualifications.
• Must demonstrate a strong safety culture. Commits to and champions developing and implementing ways to ensure a safe work place for those working on BWI, and the ongoing effort to establish and maintain an incident and injury free culture.
• Ability to influence actions of others not directly reporting to this position (Contractors and Company).
• Demonstrated ability to work with cross functional groups.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
