The Role:
THIS POSITION IS AVAILABLE ONLY FOR AZERBAIJANI CITIZENS

• Develop Training Needs Analysis
• Develop Training Plan and Matrix
• Provide assurance oversight of the projects training and competency plan;
• Manages contractors compliance with their own Competency and Training and provides mechanisms for providing assurance;
• Work with the contractor HSE Training organisation to ensure that the required HSE training process is effectively implemented at both the site supervision and worker level;
• Monitor the contractor’s HSE training performance and intervene where necessary to ensure compliance with project HSSE expectations;
• Communicates training requirements to PMT and periodically assesses training completion;
• Identifies approved Training Vendors and Resource to deliver the training plans in consultation with the Regional Learning and Development and or Procurement & Supply


Chain Management
• Ensures approved Training Vendor delivers identified training in line with training objectives and learning outcomes;
• Ensures approved course materials are utilized in the delivery of training;
• Accountable for coordinating and managing all aspects of training implementation and delivery as defined within the project plan;
• Monitor and Maintain the planning of the daily training activities of the site PMT & contractor teams
• Maintain training completion records;
• Ensures training attendees response forms and attendance forms are utilized with each training course;
• Undertaken performance management of training program by defining and reporting KPI- Work with the contractor to analyse HSSE training statistics, identify trends / deficiencies and develop HSE training strategies to prevent incidents and bridge knowledge gaps
• Act as a HSSE training interface between the project HSSE site team and the contractor organisation;
• Assist in tracking and closeout of HSSE training related actions from audits, inspections, safety observations and risk assessments to completion;
• Coach PMT on key deliverables, including:
o Safety Leadership; Safety Observation Conversations; Behavioural Observation Safety System and Risk Assess It, Talk It, Check It;
• Contribute as a team member during internal/external incident investigations/audits, and Participate in weekly and monthly Project / contractor safety meetings when directed.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Proven Team Leader
• Proven Presentation skills
• PC Skills in Word, Excel, Powerpoint
• Capable of undertaking statistical data analysis
• Ability to perform effectively in a team environment, inclusive of demonstrating collaborative, cooperative, flexible, adaptable, respectful, and tactful personal characteristics
• Excellent work and personal ethics that include trustworthiness, commitment, and empathy
• Confident, creative, and energetic approach to addressing all quality-related issues
• Competent in effectively communicating in both verbal and written English
• Ability to develop and implement HSE Management System documentation
• Physically fit to access construction work locations both on and offshore.
• Azeri or Russian Language Skills preferred
• Qualified in Health and Safety Management (NEBOSH or similar)
• Incident Investigation and Root cause analysis specialist training.
• Auditing experience (Lloyds or equivalent)
• Fabrication HSSE skills
