The Role:
The Facility Information Mentor’s focus is on improving system of records management, transition to database information record storages, and development of national team skills to use advanced systems.
•Provide support, advice and mentoring to a team of multi-national, multi-discipline engineers and designers.
•Provide support and mentoring for the program to maintain Process Safety Information documentation within Design Office.
•Provide input and support for Facility Information Management (FIM) strategies / projects / initiatives and implementation within Facilities Engineering.
•Identify and recommend appropriate Design Office technologies. Support the selection of appropriate Smart Plant information management modules for owner FIM and coordinate data migration efforts.
•Close liaison with Facilities Engineering Document Control groups.
•Close liaison with local and international external contractors as required.
•Provide support for Quality checks/audits on internal and externally sourced Projects, including but not limited to project procedures and deliverables.
•Co-ordination with other disciplines and assistance in resolving design issues.
•Support identification and prioritization of facilities/systems/equipment
•Determine list of applicable FI for area/facilities
•Develop and maintain the area/facility annual plan for compliance with FIM and provide the plan to the Business Unit (BU) Process Advisor for review
•Periodically conduct field conformance to the FIM BU process
•Track performance against area/facility leading and lagging measures and conduct annual reviews to identify FIM process gaps and implement continual improvement
•Participate in the BU FIM community of practice
•Ensure FI is available and accurate to support safe operations and conduct risk assessments
•Interact with other OE Process Advisors and Standards SME (MOC, HES RM, PSI Standard, etc.) to ensure implementation of FIM process is aligned with operational expectations
•Provide support for the career development of National employees, including development of succession plans.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•A good understanding of Information Management processes and practices.
•The use and understanding of the document management system Documentum would be to the candidate’s advantage.
•Fully conversant with Microsoft Windows, with a working knowledge of Excel, Word, and all other Window packages.
•Conversant with smart/intelligent design tools such as SmartPlant and Intools would be beneficial.
•Good teamwork and communication abilities, and work well within a group and team organized of varying nationalities.
•Fully conversant with the latest version of AutoCAD and Microstation.
•English fluency both written and verbal are required with Russian or Kazakh language skills preferred
•Knowledgeable in International standards and practices, Knowledge of ROK GOST and Snip standards beneficial.
