The Role:
Accountabilities and End Results:
Ensuring effective identification and definition of modification projects ensure most appropriate solutions are defined to meet customer needs
Primary Functions:
•Complete front end engineering activities associated with thedevelopment of FEL0, 1 and 2 project deliverables inalignment with Tiered Engineering Process
•Develop Statement of Requirements for projects to becompleted by the Modifications Team
•Develop project approvals for Decision Review Boards andsponsor project approvals with project champions andpartners
•Ensure most appropriate solutions are developed to meetstake
•Promote and manage co-ordination with COP UK Engineersand TAs in the development of engineering changes orspecific project workscopes to ensure successful scopespecification
•Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental elements areaddressed appropriately in project scopes
•Provide oversight and management of engineering systems
•Manage contracts as assigned
•Provide Delegated cover for the UK Modifications Manageras required
Interface Engagement
•Interface with the Engineering and Construction Group toensure provision of Facilities Engineering support duringdetail design and execution of small projects, as required,e.g. review of documentation, participation in design reviewsand HAZOPs
•Responsible for Management of Change assigned to FELteam
•Ensure effective Facilities Engineering input to projectDecision Review Boards (DRBs) and Approval forExpenditure (AFE) requests
•Interface with Technical Authorities to provide informationon status of relevant key projects and understand businesspriorities as required
•Manage the early development stages of topsidesmodification scopes for proposed third parties
•Provide engineering input to commercial agreements forproposed third party projects including scopes of work andcosts for topsides modifications
•Support interface meetings with Capital Projects duringdevelopment of topsides projects scopes
•Provide information on Modification Projects scopes beingdeveloped as input to E&C integrated planning and budgetplanning
Critical Skills:
1.Core Technical Experience
•Experience in facility engineering, projects or operations
•Operations background with knowledge of offshore goalsetting regulations, safety cases and verification schemes
•Knowledge of UK operations
•Educated to degree level or the equivalent in field experience
3.Personal Characteristics
•Strong communications, networking and presentationskills
•Good organisational and planning skills
•Ability to organise and prioritise and effectively managemultiple priorities and resources
•Proactive approach to problem solving, attention todetail, high level of personal initiative and sense ofurgency to meet deadlines and required deliverables
