The Company:
Our client is a major operator within the Oil and Gas Industry.

The Role:
Main Job Function:
To manage the overall construction process of existing facilities upgrading, from initial construction planning through to final handover of production operations.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
• To ensure timely delivery and efficiency of construction works execution
• To issue technical quality of project constructability reviews
• To update cost breakdown structure according to existing cost estimates
• To verify work progress status, update cost documentation and allocate costs to the right cost elements
• To update procurement and contract plans
• Construction, planning and monitoring (schedule, cost and compliance of work to project specifications)
• Constructability reviews and contractors construction projects and plan review
• Management of contractors (including construction work troubleshooting) and supplier management

Safety Responsibilities:
• Demonstrate a personal commitment to Health, Safety and the Environment by following the Project’s HSE Plan, standards and training requirements
• Identify and adopt the correct HSE standards in accordance to company standards and local norms and legislation

Main Interfaces:
Internal : liaise with partner companies, construction manager, Local and third party authorities, Other departments and other team members (other technical disciplines, HSE, cost estimating, Operation)
External : External service suppliers, Local regulatory authorities (environmental, safety, health etc.)

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
The job holder must have:

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Demonstrable experience and proven track record in field construction management.
• Demonstrable experience and proven track record in onshore oil & gas project related engineering activities.
• Fluency in English.

• E&P Management: standard workflow - best practices
• Economics General: economics , economics planning and control, cost estimating/budgeting/cost analysis/control
• Contracting: definition of contract strategy, variations and claim resolution
• Organization Processes: work team management methodology, documentation management, site management, contract management
• Project Management: project feasibility, preparation of development program & budget, HR project management, project planning, risk analysis, close-out report preparation, cost control - budgeting, project management methodologies and techniques, risk management
