The Company:
Our client is a leading global oil and gas operating company.

The Role:
The position will primarily provide Anchorage, O&M, Camps and North Slope Equipment intervention capability. In the near future this position will also be instrumental in kicking off and providing contract management and administration support to upcoming lump sum contracts and provide additional support to facilities managed projects and programs.

With the repatriation of the Company staff Contracts Management and Administration PSCM Representative imminent, this position will replace capability and will relieve the incumbent Lead Contract Administrators Work Load allowing improved management focus, deployment of an experienced Alaska capable resource on all areas in which Contract Management and Administration is deployed.

The Contract Administrator roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assisting O&M, Field Construction, PSCM and Contract Accountable Managers in ensuring that contractors fulfill their obligations under the contract;
- Ensuring that BP pays only for what is provided in the contract and eliminating off-contract spend;
- Increasing commitment integrity;
- Increasing invoice review capability and invoice accuracy;
- Supporting the line in improving scope development, scope change management and contractor cost estimates.

- Manage to the O&M PA’s;
- Verify Contractor Cost Estimates;
- Verify scope change and provide conditional approval for change;
- Track JIN’s, RFI’s in the BAR System;
- BAR’s, JIN’s and Change Order tracking log;
- Arrange Contractor Kick off meetings;
- Facilitate alignment between O&M, PSCM, O&M Services, O&M Controls and the Contractor on change orders, invoice format and content, and contract and project controls requirements for lump sum and reimbursable contracts;
- Feedback Contractor performance;
- Verify contractor site daily inputs: man hours, head count, equipment;
- Provide contract manuals as required based on value/risk;
- Review and recommend action on ‘problem’ invoices.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- 5 to 15 years in Finance, Project Management, Project Controls, Procurement Supply Chain, Contracts;
- Remote location an advantage;
- Base location: Local Alaska hire preferred;
- Flexibility: 2 x 2 rota on North Slope and willing to work in town;

- Oil & Gas, government contracting, utility contracting. Construction contracting, engineering contracting;
- Systems/tools knowledge: SAP, P6, Microsoft Project, Microsoft office, CMMS/Passport. Ariba, Procon.

Minimum Bachelors or equivalent: Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance/Accounting, Operations Management, Project Management, Construction Management, Math's, Science, Engineering.
