The Company:
Our client and Internationally renowned EPC company are looking to recruit a Field Controls Manager for a position based in Iraq.

The Role:
Our client an established EPC contractor are looking to hire a Field Control Manager on a rotational basis within their offices in Iraq

Job Skill
"Skill on effective oral and written communication in English. Proficiency in computer skills, such as MS Office Suite and Project, Primavera Project Planner (P-6) with ability for using E-mail, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to learn and apply CPM scheduling and other cost estimating application.
High degree of professionalism in the production of deliverables and in interactions with fellow employees and Client personnel."

Primary Responsibilities :
Assists the site manager with preparation of overall cost and progress report and other matters related to schedule, cost and materials.
Supervises the subcontracting administrator in controlling and updating the overall field subcontracting.
Supervises the planning engineer in controlling and updating the overall field activities planning.
Plans work and services to be purchased from outside sources or subcontracted at the jobsite in accordance with work policy and project economics. Review, analyses and negotiates bids.
Controls the field activities schedule and field activities procedures to ensure good workmanship, safe activities and on-schedule performance.
Prepares report on progress, materials, manpower and costs, and coordinates the work schedule as indicted by the reports.
Controls jobsite expenditures for labour, equipment, tools and services by analysing cost record, workmanship, material quality, quantity and scheduling.
Monitors and coordinates the preparation, maintenance and change of schedule, method, manning charts and equipment requirements. Act to improve unfavourable trends in progress.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
6-8 years experience in construction management in the organization of main contractor(s)

Experience
2-4 years experience in the cost engineering or in a related field in which more than 2 years experience in cost estimating work is required.
