The Company:
Our client is a global group of energy and petrochemicals companies with around 93,000 employees in more than 90 countries and territories. Their innovative approach ensures they are ready to help tackle the challenges of the new energy future.

The Role:
A detailed inventory of all Automation systems located in the Process Control Domain with an IP address has been produced in the last months. Due to the limited information available, this task is expected not to be complete and fully accurate. Therefore site verification in the field is required to investigate completeness of the system inventory. Not only the presence of the systems and IP address will need to be verified, also any connections to other systems/networks will be required to be mapped and both hardware and the installed software versions will be entered into a database. For this the details should be entered into Patch Database and WhatsUp Gold.

At a later state, starting after First Oil and lasting until well after handover of the Kashagan Asset to operator, PCD IT Security Remediation activities will start: Patch levels and Anti-virus update status will need to be investigated and all systems will need to be hardened. The activities described in ‘at later state’ are, at this moment, not part of the scope of work of the PACO Field Engineer, but will be executed by dedicated staff specially assigned for this work under the leadership of the SME for PCD Security.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
