The Company:
The project is a 6.9 million tonne per annum integrated LNG project operated by a global oil and gas explorer and producer. This integrated development includes gas production and processing facilities, including liquefaction and storage facilities with capacity of 6.9 million tons per year. There are over 700 kilometers of pipelines connecting the facilities.
The investment for the initial phase of the Project is estimated at US$19 billion. Over the life of the Project, it is expected that ov

The Role:
 Provide timely construction and technical assistance on-site
 Ensure a high quality, safe and successful installation of the project construction scopes
 Develop and undertake engineering to allow field modifications to be executed
 Responsible for project cost, schedule, risk management and delivery of their project(s).
 Responsible for execution of safe projects (execution), as well as identifying general improvements and project specific safety activities.
 Reviews and seeks approval for fundamental scope change requests, after promptly assessing effect on cost, schedule and risk.
 Responsible for cost effective execution of the project, delivering a fit-for-purpose facility meeting defined quality standards and minimum life-cycle costs.
 Ensure communication between design, construction, end users, technical stakeholders, the business team, and other projects, across multiple locations and cultures.
 Proactively identifies threats and opportunities and clearly identifies issues & uncertainties throughout the project lifecycle. Adopts a problem-solving outlook, and directs resources appropriately.
 Coordinates required logistics, personnel and ancillary services to allow for efficient field execution of the works

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Project Engineer should have, as a minimum, the following qualifications:
 Qualified professional engineer.
 Relevant industry experience through multiple function and project assignments
 Knowledge of production facilities and a multi-discipline skill set.
 Broad knowledge of design standards, specifications, and project work processes.
 Proven site performance (>5 years)
 Strong leadership, influencing, teamwork and interpersonal skills.
 Strong organizational, coordination, planning, and interface skills.
 Excellent communication skills and ability to read, write, and speak fluent English.
 Experience with capital budgeting and appropriation.
